Pirate Plunder An Adele Bonny Adventure The Adele Bonny Adventures Wendy Wilkinson Books Reviews
- If you're interested in learning more about Anne Bonny, Mary Read, and Calico Jack Rackham, I recommend a book titled "The Sweet Trade" by Elizabeth Garrett. Several books use the title "The Sweet Trade" so look for the one by Elizabeth Garrett.
- The story started a bit slow with character development, But the pace of the story picked up and it was hard to take a pause.
Looking forward to reading the next adventure of ADele Bobby. - I recently downloaded Wilkinson's first pirate book ARGHH.. and so enjoyed it that I recently bought the paperback edition of her new Pirate novel, Pirate's Plunder. I wasn't disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed the yarn which combined modern day and historical female pirates in an exciting and extremely interesting story. A highly recommended adventure story.
- Reading Pirate's Plunder immediately transported me to the Bahamas and a life of adventure. Wendy captured the spirit of the Islands and had me hooked from the first page. I loved the historic references and the play between Adele and Anne Bonny made me yearn for more. It's always wonderful to see a heroine prevail!
- I read ARGHH and enjoyed it as the tease for PIRATES PLUNDER. Pirates Plunder did not disappoint. It was a very fun read. I'm heading to Cancun very soon and wish I would have saved it to read on the beach. I do recommend this captivating read to all people who enjoy pirates and adventure.
- I am just about finished with it. Can't say that it is the best book I've ever read. I think it's her writing style that is a little flat. The story line is okay but I wouldn't go looking for any more books from this author.
- Pirate's Plunder is a great summer/beach book. Colorful, endearing characters. Tropical settings. Adventure and a touch of romance. I recommend Pirate's Plunder.
